In Huntington Beach, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across California do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.

Best breakfast anywhere! I frequent multiple breakfast places locally & wherever I live or travel. Best in order: sausage, coffee, service (Jeanie), pastel colored plates, value incl free fresh bakery, atmosphere, music, decor, etc.. My huge issue is they open @7am, waay too late 4me while so many places open much earlier …

Edited after receiving the response from management... The decision to have Pollys Pies make moms birthday dessert is a mistake I wont make again. Receiving the WRONG pie on your birthday is more than just "frustrating." This review was not intended to be a public service announcement to remind other guests to be aware of incompetent staff who dont know the difference between an apple pie and a lemon meringue pie. Its not our job to have to check to make sure we got what we ordered. Its YOUR job to get it right the first time, and make sure this "frustrating" mix-up does not happen again. While it may seem like a laughable error to Management, its deeply upsetting to see the lack of accountability and ZERO attempt to make it right.

I’ve never been to Polly’s Pies until today, and wow—that food was Delicious with a capital D! I went with the "3 for $15" deal, which covers a starter, an entree, and a slice of their famous pie. For my starter, I had the house salad with balsamic vinaigrette, which felt fresh and healthy. The main event was the Grilled Norwegian Salmon; that was an extra $5 upgrade, but it was well worth the $20 total! The Cajun seasoning and chipotle butter paired perfectly with the herb rice and market vegetables. To top it all off, I went with the Pie of the Day—a classic Banana Cream Pie that was incredibly satisfying. Everything was absolutely to die for, and our waiter provided outstanding service to match. It was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stopped by Polly’s for the first time. I ordered the Comeback Chicken Sandwich combo, which included fries, a drink, and a cookie (I opted to upgrade my cookie to a slice of pie for an extra $3). The sandwich was 2 out of 5. While the chicken texture was fine, the breading lacked flavor and the bun was average. The fries were ok (3/5). The highlight of the meal was the pie. I tried the fresh strawberry pie (4/5) and the blueberry pie (3.5/5) with ice cream. The strawberries were fresh and I appreciated that the pie wasn't stuffed with cream.

Polly’s has been a family favorite for decades! The Pollymelt, chicken fried steak, and any pie you try are amazing. The chicken pot pie is the best I’ve ever had!
